About PBL Voiceover Coach

Paul Butler Lennox is a Dublin born voiceover artist, actor, educator, and director with more than two decades of professional experience in the entertainment industry. With over 150 voiceover credits to his name, he has built a reputation as one of Ireland's most versatile and authentic vocal performers and educators combining natural storytelling, character and accent work, with a deep understanding of performance and script interpretation.

Working from his fully equipped professional recording studio, Paul collaborates with leading agencies, Animation companies, production companies, and international brands, delivering broadcast quality performances and consultation across commercial, corporate, documentary, e learning, animation, and promotional projects.

Throughout his career, Paul has provided voice work for some of the world's most recognised organisations and broadcasters, including Google, Netflix, Wondery, the BBC, RTÉ and worked with some of Ireland's and international leading animation companies.

Paul is also a sought after Voiceover Director and Casting Director, most recently casting, script editing and voice directing the international children's series The Rainbow Kingdom, featuring Fionnula Flanagan, Casting and Vo Directing the new Screen Ireland TV animation series Avocado Jackfruit, and casting and Vo Directing the upcoming international Irish/Portuguese feature animated project Una.

Paul recently cast and voice directed the a international tech companies new online Navigation Irish brand voices being rolled out in 2026/27.

Paul has also delivered workshops at the One Voice Conference in Stratford upon Avon, UK in 2026, and in Canary Wharf in 2025 on Authenticity in Voiceover.

Alongside his work behind the microphone, Paul is passionate about developing new talent within the industry. As the founder of PBL Voiceover Coach, he delivers professional masterclasses, script interpretation workshops, one to one mentoring and demo production for aspiring and established voice actors throughout Ireland and the UK. His practical, performance led approach has helped countless artists develop the skills and confidence required to succeed in a highly competitive industry and examples are numerous.

Paul also serves as Director of Film Network Ireland and is the long time host and producer of FNI Wrapchat, Ireland's leading weekly film and television industry podcast, where he interviews some of the most respected figures in Irish and international screen industries. He has produced and co-hosted over 200 eps.

As an actor, Paul trained at the Gaiety School of Acting under Patrick Sutton and has enjoyed an award winning career on screen. He received the Best Actor Award at the Dublin International Short Film and Music Festival for his performance in Marauders and has appeared in acclaimed productions including The Tudors (HBO) and Hardy Bucks (RTÉ/Netflix) as well as playing the lead in the feature A Day like today by Ger Walsh, which screened at multiple fil festivals in Ireland and internationally and screened on Australian tv. Paul has acted in over 50 Short films over the years.
